About McAlister Institute- North Coastal Regional Recovery Center – Oceanside
The McAlister Institute, formerly known as the North Coastal Regional Recovery Center, provides alcohol and drug rehab and mental health treatment for individuals in Oceanside, California. The inpatient detox program allows individuals to safely and comfortably detox from drugs and alcohol under medical supervision. Following detox, participants are referred to an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab or outpatient addiction treatment program.
Using evidence-based practices, the residential treatment clinical team treats substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions. Programs are open to adults ages 18 and up, and adolescents aged 13 to 17.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) program is open to adults over 18. Clients attend individual and group treatment sessions for improved coping skills, peer support, therapy, and recovery meetings. Sessions are typically held 3 to 4 days a week.
