About Meridian Sid Martin Bridge House – Gainesville
Meridian Sid Martin Bridge House is a CARF accredited drug and rehabilitation treatment center. They’re located in Gainesville, Florida, and have an inpatient substance use treatment program for adults where they also treat co-occurring mental health disorders.
The center works to keep treatment as affordable as possible. They have contracts with Lutheran Social Services with funding through the Florida Department of Children and Families if you don’t have insurance. They also accept private insurance, disability, Medicaid and Medicare. They also offer a sliding scale for self pay clients.
The facility has 44 beds, and the treatment programs are 28 to 90 days. They offer detox so you can safely withdraw from whatever toxic substances are in your body. They center your recovery around the 12 Step model for lifelong sobriety. While in treatment, you’re required to choose a sponsor and go to 12 Step meetings.
As with the 12 Step programs, the center focuses on the behavioral, social and psychological aspects of your substance use. The programs help you focus on finding a supportive community to help you heal and develop attitudes and behaviors that favor healthy living.
While an inpatient treatment, the emphasis is on group therapy and community resources to help you successfully reintegrate outside of the hospital environment. You’ll learn about addiction and relapse prevention.
After you leave the outpatient program, they offer outpatient services in other Gainesville locations. You can attend the outpatient programs while transitioning back to your daily life.
