Metrocare Skillman Family Mental Health Clinic provides mental health and disability care for people of all ages in Dallas, Texas. They offer medication-assisted treatment for up to one year. Their fees are based upon your insurance coverage. Self-pay is on a sliding scale based on your income.
Their substance use program is offered on an outpatient level for adults over 18. It focuses on you as a person and services are tailored to your needs, strengths and goals. How often you get treatment depends on you, but generally it averages to 6 hours a week for 3 months. After you finish your program, Skillman Family Mental Health Clinic offers long-term aftercare support.
During treatment, you’ll be assessed and have input in your recovery plan. You’ll participate in individual and group counseling with certified recovery coaches. You’ll also get support from certified peer specialists and be introduced to the 12 steps for recovery.
This facility also offers ambulatory detox services. A registered nurse and physician will oversee you during this process. This program lasts for 28 days with 6 hours of treatment each day.
