About Metropolitan Family Services – Chicago
Metropolitan Family Services has been supporting families and local communities in Chicago Illinois since 1857. This particular branch is based on East 91st Street and serves individuals based in southeast Chicago specifically.
Education services are provided here for pregnant individuals and parents, as well as counseling and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults, seniors, and families. I think it’s great that services are offered to such a broad age range since this isn’t the case for many facilities.
Metropolitan Family Services provides individual, group, and family therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and community support. Psychiatry is also offered to those with concurrent mental health issues. Again, these are all available for children, teens, adults, and seniors. Inclusive treatment and services, I love to see it!
Many former clients praise their therapists’ professional approach and genuine care for their patients. Many staff members are praised and called out by name for their service, which is great to see.
