Woodcrest is a men’s residential drug rehab in Riverside, California. The residence as well as the program are for men only. Treatment takes place on a ranch setting on 6 acres of land.
Their men only setting allows for more comfort while focusing on learning and practicing the skills you need to live a life in recovery. They focus on topics relevant to men learning to break free from addiction such as anger management and self control. The setting is designed to be a safe space to open up.
Their treatment is based on the matrix model. This model brings together cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement and the 12 Step model. Therapy takes place at the individual, group and family levels.
Their staff psychiatrist will treat you for mental health issues and monitor your mental health recovery at the same time you’re recovering from substance use. There are medical issues that tend to go hand in hand with substance use, and they will treat you for these as well during your stay.
If you’re looking for a residential treatment setting that’s for men only and uses evidence based treatment, this may be a place for you to consider.
