About MHC Behavioral Health Services – Marana

MHC Behavioral Health Services in Marana, Arizona was a provider of urgent care and referrals to behavioral health services that supported children and adults who were working through a mental health struggle or a co occurring substance use disorder.

Unfortunately, the MHC’s Marana location has since closed down. However, there are still other health centers and MHC facilities operating throughout Marana and the surrounding area.

When they were open, they accepted policies from most major insurance providers, AHCCCS plans, and Medicare. They had sliding scale discounts as well. You would not have been denied care because of an inability to pay.

This facility offered what they called Quick Care checkups which allowed you to be seen quickly, usually within the same day. While they didn’t provide dedicated addiction treatment services here, this was a supportive place to turn to as a first step to be seen by a medical professional who can help you understand what your recovery options were.

From this initial appointment, you would have gotten connected to different mental health services including medication assisted treatment. They also had dedicated counseling services that would help you work through your addiction with experienced mental health professionals.

Substance abuse seldom exists alone. At MHS Behavioral Health Services, you would have been able to access specialized mental health care support ranging from trauma focused care to parenting classes to education and employment services.

Depending on what your recovery plan needs were, you may have received outpatient therapy and substance use recovery treatment here at the Marana Clinic. Although this facility closed, These services are still offered in the nearby Marana Counseling and Wellness Center and affiliated locations.
