About MHS – Victor Valley Center for Change – Victorville
Located in Victorville, California, MHS – Victor Valley Center for Change provides intensive outpatient programs (IOP), traditional outpatient programs, and aftercare mental health and alcohol and drug rehab services to adults aged 18 and older.
The intensive outpatient program provides personalized treatment programs, mental health therapy, group therapy, relapse prevention, dual diagnosis treatment, and skills classes. The program meets three times each week, for three hours at a time.
The outpatient program provides individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, and personalized services designed to help clients identify the root causes of their challenges. Referrals can be placed if a higher level of care is needed. Once a person feels they are ready, they can reduce the frequency of their treatment and move into what is known as an aftercare program.
The aftercare level of treatment is an ongoing, long-term program that focuses on providing personalized treatment that helps an individual maintain their recovery and mental health over time. Therapy and groups are common ways to do this.
