The Miracles House is a faith based residential treatment center located in Wichita, Kansas. They provide supportive services and specialize in treatment for women with children and women who are struggling with mental health conditions and substance abuse disorders.

While you are staying at this facility, during your time off from treatment, you can develop new sober interests outdoors. Whichita offers a variety of different trails to walk like Sedwick Outer Loop or the Tanganyika Wildlife Park. The benefits of being outdoors help reduce anxiety, triggers, cravings and improve your mood.
What stands out to me the most is their primary approach which combines faith based treatment with a variety of evidence based and holistic therapies. This can be a great opportunity to strengthen your connection with your spirituality. Services can include Sunday worship, Bible study and fellowship with other women who are on a similar journey as you.
What makes them so unique is also the integrative care they provide for dual diagnosis. It’s not uncommon to have difficulties regarding chemical dependency and lack of stability due to mental health conditions combined.
