About Mobile Metro Treatment Center – Mobile

The Mobile Metro Treatment Center of New Season is located in Mobile, Alabama. They’re an outpatient opioid addiction treatment center, providing adults with services.

A great thing about them is that they accept both Medicaid and Medicare. They also accept private insurance. If you do not have insurance, you may actually be able to qualify for low cost or free treatment.

What instantly stood out to me is that they are open seven days a week. They also provide dosing hours seven days a week.

Before any treatment is started, you will have a medical exam done. The medical exam is done to ensure your safety. Once that is completed, the staff will then be able to create your customized treatment plan. The treatment plan is going to be based on your needs and goals.

Since their program is an outpatient one, you will still be able to take care of your daily commitments. You will still be able to attend school, work and your family responsibilities. It also allows you to learn how to navigate recovery in your present day to day life.

Your medication assisted treatment (MAT) will be combined with counseling. This is a wonderful low cost option, if you are unable to attend inpatient care. With this treatment set up, they will be able to treat the psychological and physiological components of your addiction. The medications they use are methadone, Suboxone, and buprenorphine.

With counseling, you’ll be able to learn why you became addicted in the first place. You will also learn to identify your triggers. By being able to identify your triggers you will learn how to handle loss and setbacks. Your counselor will also help you learn new ways to positively cope with stress.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

LGBTQ Program

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
