Cedar Lodge is their high intensity residential program, typically lasting two to three weeks. The goal of Cedar Lodge is to improve quality of life by finding balance and healing in all aspects of wellness. All clients are accepted, regardless of ability to pay. This program consists of counseling, peer support, and substance use education. If medical detox is necessary, referrals are given.
The substance use prevention program aims to provide education and to offer alternative activities that are substance free. They seek community based strategies like use prevention and better accessibility to treatment services. From an environmental standpoint, they hope to change community standards and attitudes. They also work to teach people about the connection between drug use and HIV/AIDS exposure.
