WestCare GulfCoast Florida is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. It used to be called Mustard Seed Inn Veterans Community Living Center. It’s a rehab for drug addictions and mental or behavioral health issues. They’ll assist with residential care and emergency services. They also have programs for veterans and folks under court orders.
When you’re admitted, you’ll be assessed. If there are any acute symptoms, you’ll be enrolled in their inpatient center. This way, you’ll be monitored 24/7 and receive timely meds to address any withdrawals and cravings. They’ll also start you off with counseling in groups and individually. There are also classes for you to develop life skills, learn about your health, and work with community supporters.
There will also be outpatient programs available when you finish your inpatient stay. Transitional housing can give you more support as you get ready to go back to your community. Transitional housing is coed, which can help you get a sense of normalcy again.
If you’re under a court order, they’ll have some legal services that go along with drug courts and compliance. If you’re a vet, they have mentoring programs so that you’ll buddy up to tackle any PTSD and trauma together.
