About Naaman Center – Elizabethtown
In the rural community of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, is the Naaman Center. This is an outpatient treatment center that supports adults and adolescents who are struggling with substance use or have a co-occurring mental health disorder.
For over 44 years this organization has evolved to provide evidence based and spiritual support for residents throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. Today the organization has grown to offer over a dozen locations providing a blend of evidence based care and holistic support to the clients they serve.
This organization takes a faith based approach to care. In fact, their name is taken after the Biblical figure, Naaman, a character who found healing for his leprosy after following God’s “steps to healing.”
Today that faith based approach is still woven into their mission and vision, and depending on your case, your treatment plan as well. For many people who might not have a system of support or family to turn on, faith based care can help you feel a sense of safety as you navigate the difficult parts of recovery.
This organization keeps up with the latest methodologies in addiction recovery, and as such, they provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) for your alcohol or opioid use struggles. At the Naaman Center medication is not used as a stand-alone treatment but is instead coupled with counseling support. This lets you get the most effective approach to recovery.
Youth counseling services are available for children aged 14 to 17. Whether you have a child who is at risk or is facing struggles with substance use or mental health, intentional counseling can help guide them in their journey to health and wellness.
