New Bridge Foundations is an award winning drug and alcohol addiction treatment center for adults in Berkeley, California. Addiction-related levels of care offered at New Bridge Foundations include mental health assessments and counseling, detox, short and long-term residential treatment, day treatment, and intensive outpatient programs.
Mental Health Assessment and Counseling
Mental health assessments evaluate the client’s mental health to create an individualized treatment plan, which may include individual, group, and/or family counseling.
Detoxification/Withdrawal Management
Withdrawal management services support clients to safely and comfortably detox from drugs and alcohol, under the medical supervision of doctors and nursing staff. Following detox, participants are referred to a residential or outpatient addiction treatment program.
Residential Addiction Treatment
New Bridge Foundations offer a home-like environment in their client-centered treatment centers. Clients can expect individual and group therapy, skill development, emotional regulation techniques, and stress management.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
IOP is delivered via telehealth by a team of trained and credentialed professionals. Clients attend individual and group treatment sessions several days a week, which includes individual and group counseling, skills development groups, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, and aftercare.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)/Day Treatment
PHPs are also an outpatient program, but client’s attend treatment most days of the week and return home in the evenings. PHP may be best suited to dual-diagnosis treatments and acute substance use disorders.
