New Dimensions Day Treatment Center’s Katy Counseling Services is a private substance abuse and mental health disorder treatment program. They provide a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient treatment, dual diagnosis treatment, and aftercare services. You’ll find ’em located in the heart of Katy, Texas. They’re accredited by The Joint Commission.
The PHP can be described as a full-time outpatient treatment program. Clients spend most of their days in treatment in a highly structured environment and return home at night. PHP treatment includes individual and group therapy, relapse prevention training, motivational interviewing, and cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
The IOP offers flexible but intensive treatment. It meets less often than the PHP to accommodate busy schedules, and it strongly emphasizes peer support.
Outpatient treatment is the least intensive level of drug rehab care. It’s typically used by clients with mild symptoms or by those who have completed a higher level of care. It meets less often than the IOP.
A dual diagnosis program addresses substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Aftercare support is continuing support for clients who have completed treatment. It includes relapse prevention and additional support.
