New Horizons Behavioral Health is an addiction treatment center for teens and adults in Columbus, Georgia. Through their Reach Center and other services, they help clients break through the chains of addiction and reclaim their quality of life. They specialize in case management, counseling, medication assisted treatment and outpatient services. They also have several residential programs for clients who need round the clock care as they recover.
Their counseling services are available three to five days a week, depending on your needs. You can also find aftercare and less intensive options that meet once or twice each week. They focus on peer based recovery groups and the meetings follow the 12 Step model. You’ll also engage in evidence based therapy to learn more about addiction and uncover the root of your substance use.
Some of the other available services here include psychoeducation, life skills training and group or family counseling. Gender specific programs are available if you need them. If you’re struggling with opioid addiction, their MAT program can help alleviate your symptoms, reduce your pain and lower your risk of relapse. Something I like about this facility is that they also offer a safe and sober spot for teens to hang out, called Connections.
