New Jerusalem Now is a nonprofit residential addiction recovery community located on the west side of North Philadelphia. New Jerusalem Now is a non-denominational spiritual community focused on the principles of nonviolence, simplicity, and cooperative living.

New Jerusalem Now understands addiction as one part of a vast network of social injustices that are particularly profound in the “urban desert” of North Philadelphia.

New Jerusalem Now is essentially a nondenominational spiritual community of mutual help engaged in a continuum of human development open to all who need it and wish to be a part of its mission. New Jerusalem Now members are committed to pursuing all dimensions of human development that enter into achieving stability in recovery: spiritual, psychological, social and economic.
