About New Life House – Los Angeles Sober Living – Los Angeles
New Life House – Los Angeles Sober Living is a dual diagnosis and sober living house for males that are in recovery or have already been through recovery and need that extra help learning to re-integrate into everyday life. This facility is located in Los Angeles, California. They provide age specific grouping so that you are not in a group with someone with different goals and priorities than you.
This facility helps young people develop good life skills and transition into independent living while providing a strong mental health component delivered by a clinical team. Residents are also provided structure while learning these aspects of living.
While here, you will learn vocational skills and receive job support and academic guidance. You’ll involve your family in your programming so you strengthen your family relationships at the same time.
This house provides structure, support, programming and wraparound clinical care. They address your mental health and help engage you in mentorships with other peers to give you the best start on your recovery as possible. While helping mentor others, you are building your own self-confidence and healthy life.
While living here you will take part in chores, therapy, exercise, life skills groups, recreation and free time. You’ll also have evening activities outside of the house, such as a 12 Step group, recovery activities and community activities.
Many former clients and their families have said that this is a great program that took a holistic approach to helping them recover. This program taught them the skills they needed to recover and learn to live everyday life sober. Clients say they learned skills that helped save their lives.
