About NFI – Outpatient Clinic – Danvers
NFI – Outpatient Clinic is a not-for-profit drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Danvers, Massachusetts. They provide treatment to people of all ages who are experiencing a substance use disorder. They also treat people who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. NFI accepts MassHealth coverage, and services may also be available for uninsured clients who have a diagnosis of substance use disorder.
This office provides the Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP). This program is available Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Most people are in treatment anywhere from six to eight weeks.
You will be given a full intake assessment including a drug test. You and your caseworker will make a plan for your recovery. They will check in with you each day that you are in the program. If you need medication for a psychological condition or if you are experiencing discomfort from withdrawal, they can help you with medication assisted treatment (MAT).
You will have individual therapy sessions that are customized specifically to your needs. The goal of the therapy is to get you to change your way of thinking to stop hurting yourself with substances.
Their group therapy is largely psychoeducational. The counselor leading the group will provide you with information about the effects of drugs on your body and your ability to make decisions. They will help you understand the consequences of your decision to use substances. They will teach you about the effects on your family and those around you as well as your personal growth. You will also participate in 12 Step programs.
Once you have finished treatment at the center, they can refer you to one of the residential programs or group homes the company offers. Staff can also follow up with aftercare services that provide ongoing support for long term recovery.
