About North County Serenity House – Serenity Too – Escondido
North County Serenity House Serenity Too offers transitional housing for women and women with children in Escondido, California. They have been helping individuals who’ve completed substance use disorder treatment programs since 2007. Clients are able to begin living an independent life with secure housing that supports their sobriety.
The program features eight houses that have three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The homes have a community kitchen as well as a dining and living area. Clients are required to have income to pay for rent.
You’ll also need to participate in self sufficiency classes and be continuing in your recovery. These classes may touch on topics such as managing your finances, practicing self care and healthy meal planning.
There will be peers at the facility who can provide you with encouragement and support throughout your stay. Clients are allowed to stay at North County Serenity House for up to 24 months. Mothers can bring children up to the age of five with them.
