About North Range Behavioral Health – Island Grove Center – Greeley

North Range Behavioral Health specializes in mental and behavioral health services for children, teens, and adults. They have multiple locations across Colorado, including the Island Grove Center in Greeley. At this center, they offer outpatient treatment services for adults.

I like that this facility understands the relationship between mental health and addiction. They know that to heal from drug or alcohol addiction, most people must also address underlying challenges affecting their mental and emotional health. When you visit here, you can connect with a counselor who will talk you through those issues.

During your sessions, you’ll address the symptoms of your condition, understand your triggers, and learn how to cope with stress without turning to chemical substances. They’ll also help you uncover some of your emotional, social, psychological, and spiritual needs that might be going unmet and show you how you can find the support you deserve. In addition to individual counseling sessions, they also have group meetings you can attend to learn more about the disease of addiction and connect with others who are going through a similar journey.

One former client says she couldn’t get clean by herself even though she wanted to, so she came here. She says her therapist was an angel and she is grateful for her support.

Levels of Care

Outpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
