VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System–Northeast Primary Care Clinic, in Las Vegas, Nevada, offers mental and behavioral health care for military personnel, veterans, and families, including specialized programming for adolescents, young adults, seniors, persons with hearing impairment, LGBTQ+ persons, homeless and indigent persons, and persons with co-occurring disorders. They provide telehealth care, outpatient treatment (OP), and aftercare planning and support. They are Joint Commission accredited.

Clients in outpatient treatment receive comprehensive medical and mental health assessments, drug and alcohol screenings, personalized care planning, and complete case management. Referrals for acute and subacute inpatient treatment are available as needed.

Their outpatient programs are designed for clients who do not require hospitalization or round-the-clock clinical supervision, including those stepping down from inpatient care. Clients engage in intensive individual, group, and family counseling drawing on proven modalites, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. The program promotes clients’ sustained sobriety through robust, age-specific, recovery-focused life skills training addressing topics such as coping and relapse prevention. Evidence-based complementary therapies are available, including fitness and experiential therapy.

Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include step-down support, 12 step program facilitation, sober living transitions, and referrals for additional services.
