Cadillac is known for its strong sense of community and peaceful surroundings. With calming lakes and quiet spaces, it’s a place where focusing on recovery feels a little easier.
Co-occurring disorders happen when mental health challenges and substance use issues show up together. This can look different for everyone, but it often means the two challenges are connected and create unique struggles.
When you’re ready to get help, the process is simple. You can call or visit the office in Cadillac to meet with a caring mental health professional who will help figure out if you’re eligible for services.
Whether you need detox, methadone treatment, outpatient treatment or residential services, an assessment comes first. Support looks different for everyone, but the goal is always to find the approach that feels right for you.
Paying for treatment shouldn’t add to the stress you’re already feeling. If you’re eligible for treatment, they accept Medicaid, Healthy Michigan Plan and Medicare. They also have a sliding fee scale based on family size and income to help keep costs manageable. Most importantly, you won’t be denied services if paying isn’t possible.
Every year, Northern Lakes hosts the Art of Recovery: The Human Journey. This one-of-a-kind event celebrates the strength and creativity of people in recovery. It’s a unique opportunity for individuals healing from addiction and mental illness to share their journey through art and connect with others in a meaningful way.
