About Nova Center – Huntsville
The Nova Center Family Services program is offered through WellStone in Huntsville, Alabama. This facility provides intervention and drug recovery services to adolescents and their families. Individuals aged 18 and younger who are navigating a substance use disorder are supported through two available outpatient programs. Individuals aged 19 and older can be connected to care through the affiliated New Horizons Recovery Center.
The outpatient program at Nova Center Family Services provides individualized treatments that can help you gain critical skills to navigate your substance use disorder. There’s also an intensive outpatient counseling program that offers counseling in a group setting. You’ll have the opportunity to work through recovery with the support of mentors and similarly suited peers. The intensive outpatient spans several weeks and is geared toward those who need more robust support, after which they can transition to outpatient care.
This facility is unique in that it accepts referrals from a range of organizations including the juvenile justice system and other community partners. Additionally, family support is encouraged and there is a range of educational services to help teens and their families navigate the road to recovery.
