About Oasis Adolescent Campus – Orlando

A few minutes southeast of Long Lake in Orlando, Florida, Aspire Health operates its Oasis Adolescent Campus (OAC). This is a specialized residential facility that gives adolescents from ages 13 to 17 appropriate care that’s relevant to each teen’s individual needs and struggles. The campus is designated to treat a variety of behavioral health disorders, such as trauma from incidents of abuse, mental and emotional health problems, and struggles with alcohol and drug dependencies.

As an Aspire Health Partners facility, fees can be covered by most major private insurers, military insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. Additionally, everyone who goes to Aspire Health Partners undergoes an automatic process of financial screening, during which they can determine if the individual or family qualifies for discounts or financial assistance. Charity funding may also be available for people without insurance. They try to keep their service affordable so that young people can get the help they need, especially if they come from difficult circumstances.

Their program is geared toward addressing the behavioral disorders young people may be experiencing while still giving an experience that adolescents in middle and high school can enjoy. They primarily use counseling and therapy to assist teens who struggle in these areas and also plan for their futures by providing substance use education and relapse prevention planning. They also try, when possible, to reunite adolescents with their families and help them build relationships with their loved ones.

At the Oasis campus, teens are also given opportunities to play sports, go on field trips, engage in bonding activities, and work on life skills training. Furthermore, they use Florida’s FLEX virtual school for online education and teach other GED subjects if those aren’t covered by the FLEX syllabus.
