About O’Brien House – Baton Rouge
O’Brien House is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They provide residential programming, outpatient services, prevention, and adult education.
One thing that stands out to me is that they have specific treatment for veterans that’s free. For veterans, they offer case management and creative workshops. Their prevention program shares the effects of tobacco, drug, and alcohol use to the community and encourages engagement through activities.
Their residential program is gender focused and provides individual and group counseling. You’ll be an active participant in 12 Step treatment when enrolled in this level of care. This level of care is offered for three months at a time and incorporates a phase system.
In their outpatient treatment program, you’ll have the chance to engage in intensive outpatient treatment if you choose, or you can go with the traditional outpatient treatment. In this program, you’ll have access to individual and group therapies as well as the chance to learn life skills for long-term success. Their program also provides random drug screening.
