About Omni Youth Services – Buffalo Grove
Omni Youth Services is located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. They offer comprehensive behavioral health services for youth and their families, including outpatient and virtual counseling services, substance abuse treatment, prevention programs and family preservation services. Omni accepts Medicaid and many commercial insurance plans and offers self pay options including a sliding scale payment schedule for those who qualify. Their services are offered in English and Spanish.
Omni offers the specialized Seven Challenges program for youth who are experiencing alcohol and substance use disorders. This program is specifically designed to work with adolescents who have committed to recovery by addressing their substance use disorder as well as co-occurring disorders. Individuals work with counselors to improve life skill deficits and learn healthy coping skills.
Their Basic Outpatient Services program (BOP) works with youth and their families to address the challenges of adolescent substance use. They focus on individual treatment approaches that promote responsibility, harm reduction and risk management.
Their targeted school based groups can assist educators in helping youth who need guidance with social skills, depression, suicide prevention, life challenges, bullying and gang involvement. For youth who are facing life challenges due to stress they offer Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS). This program assists individuals with mindfulness, distress tolerance, conflict resolution, empowerment and problem solving skills.
For members of the LGBTQIA+ community they offer a safe and supportive environment that appreciates the unique qualities of all individuals.
