About Our Hope Association – Grand Rapids

Our Hope Association is an addiction and mental health treatment facility that’s been dedicated to helping women in and around the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area recover from addiction for over 50 years. The clinic offers counseling, specific education and residential treatment.

Our Hope Association currently takes Medicaid and Cigna Insurance. Patients can also pay using a credit card, cash, debit card or money order. If you’re experiencing financial hardship the facility might be able to provide assistance. The clinic has a small Financial Assistance Fund supported via donations, and eligible potential patients can apply for a scholarship through this program.

Women who seek help from this clinic can expect to receive a confidential assessment with one of the clinic’s Master’s level certified alcohol and drug counselors. This will help the staff create an individualized treatment plan. Your plan might include withdrawal management at the facility, holistic care services and participation in the 90 day residential treatment program.

Our Hope’s residential program involves individual and group therapy. One interesting aspect of this facility is that it provides unique daily activities like yoga and art therapy. It also helps foster a community living atmosphere where women can develop a support network together.

One thing I noticed about this facility is that it had positive reviews overall. Multiple former patients expressed gratitude for the facility’s help and said that the services truly “changed my life” and “saved my life.” These reviews support the clinic’s dedication to helping clients build the right resources for a lifetime of recovery. Dedication to long term recovery helps ensure lasting sobriety and success.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
