About Ozark Center – Will’s Place – Joplin
Will’s Place provides comprehensive behavioral health services for clients from birth to age 25. They are located in Joplin, Missouri and run by Freeman Health Systems. This is a not-for-profit nationally recognized healthcare provider with clinics and hospitals in three states.
Will’s Place offers services such as substance use treatment, psychiatric care, outpatient therapy and more.
Services at Will’s Place can be covered by Missouri Medicaid, commercial insurance, or self pay as well as funding provided by Missouri Department of Mental Health.
Will’s Place provides evaluations, consultations, crisis interventions, and psychosocial rehabilitation for any psychiatric conditions.
For outpatient therapy, they offer trauma-focused care for individuals, children and families. Each client gets a personalized treatment plan to address your concerns.
Staff can help with emotional wellness, family and community functioning, avoiding high-risk behaviors as well as recovering from substance abuse. You may receive individual, group and/or family therapy.
Will’s Place also runs a crisis intervention hotline that is available 24/7.
One of the best features at Will’s Place in my opinion is their community support specialists. They help you with case management and treatment planning, and will even coach you on parenting techniques. I like that these services are responsive to your social, cultural and linguistic situation. Plus, services are age and development-appropriate.
