About Park Place Behavioral – Kissimmee
Park Place Behavioral offers mental health and substance use disorder care within an inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) therapeutic environment. They offer several services for adults to help support your recovery journey. This includes crisis services such as 24-hour emergency screening and admission for mental health crises in children, adolescents, and adults. You’ll find ‘em out in Kissimmee, Florida.
The recovery oriented services begin with an assessment that forms the foundation of your long term sobriety. The outpatient services are the least intensive service and can be the starting point or the end of your recovery journey. Intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) is ideal when you need a higher level of care but do not require 24/7 supervision. The outpatient program is offered three days each week for adults 18 years and older.
One of the tools used to help meet your goal of sobriety is medication assisted treatment. They use FDA approved prescription medications to help reduce your withdrawal symptoms from opioids and alcohol addiction. This also helps reduce cravings and prevents relapse, working towards breaking your dependence on alcohol and opioids. When you require 24/7 supervision and support, they have a residential drug and alcohol treatment program with licensed staff who can help you get the care you need.
They use an intensive multidisciplinary team approach to provide clinical and psychotherapeutic care within individual, group, and recreational therapy settings. A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is less intensive than residential care but more intensive than an intensive outpatient program. They provide care for substance abuse disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
You also have access to recovery peer support services, which is a sober support network where you can discuss issues and successes openly. You also have access to primary and wellness care within the program to round out a holistic approach to care. They’re a nonprofit organization that has been serving Osceola County for the last 44 years through generous gifts from donors.
