About Parkview Mental Health Associates – Albany
The Albany Clinic of Hope House is located in Albany, New York. Their outpatient clinic, formerly the Parkview Mental Health Associates, offers substance use disorder treatment. Regardless of your ability to pay, you won’t be turned away and will receive service. They’ll work with you and your budget.
Their outpatient program provides intensive and general treatment. The difference between the programs is the time spent in treatment per day. I do like that all of their treatment plans are personalized to address everyone’s individual needs. If you have a co-occurring disorder then they are able to provide you with mental health support.
They do believe in combining clinical counseling and medication to help you achieve sobriety. With that said, they do provide medication assisted treatment. Suboxone and Vivitrol are approved by the FDA and are used to help individuals who have an opioid use disorder, nicotine use disorder and an alcohol use disorder. These medications will help with any cravings you may have and ease any withdrawal symptoms. You’ll also be able to attend individual and group therapy.
I do like that they offer peer support services. Your peers provide a great support system as they have once stood in your place and are able to relate and connect with you. Continuing care is provided, once you have completed your individual treatment.
