.
Pathway to Recovery’s Level 1 housing starts building a foundation with 24/7 structure and support. You’ll have a shared room with meals included and you can relax and start learning the life skills you need for independent living. If you lack stable housing this allows 6 to 9 months of secure home life so you can work toward more freedom with a sober lifestyle.
To qualify you must have a history of substance use and agree to mental health treatment. The minimum stay is six months. To move to the next level, there are several criteria to meet including stable income and being substance free.
One of the unique features of Pathway to Recovery is that guests don’t always start at the first level. Your placement depends on many factors, including stability, employment, recovery status, and housing availability.
They allow residents to enter advanced phases of the program when they transfer from community partners. If level one is not the most appropriate starting point for your needs, the team may refer you to one of their other locations for semi independent living or permanent housing.
