About Pathways Behavioral Health – Clinton
Compass Health, formerly known as Pathways Behavioral Health, is a medical network serving central Missouri. They host a substance use treatment program in Clinton, Missouri where you or your family members can get outpatient and residential addiction treatment. In their outpatient center, they treat both adults and adolescents. Their two residential treatment centers at this location both treat adults, but one is specifically for women with children.
In their outpatient program, you have access to counseling and addiction psychiatry where they can treat you with medication for opioid use disorder. This is sometimes known as bupe, buprenorphine or Suboxone treatment. You can also participate in groups that teach you about addiction and help you learn and practice ways to stay sober.
If you’re a woman with substance use disorder and need treatment but have nowhere your kids can stay, they will let you bring your kids if they are under twelve years old. They will help you get daycare and enroll your kids in school. Their women and children’s residential treatment center is separate from the general adult treatment center.
Overall, I have a positive impression of them. They are accredited by CARF and have received numerous federal awards, including one for addressing social risk factors. Their treatments are evidence based and their program that allows women to stay with their children while in treatment is innovative.
