About Pathways Behavioral Health – Outpatient – Waterloo
Pathways Behavioral Services is an organization that provides treatment and prevention services for individuals struggling with substance use disorder. Clients can receive treatment in the intensive outpatient program and the general outpatient program. The facility also offers medication assisted treatment to assist with your healing.
After completing intensive outpatient or extended care programs, clients can keep receiving treatment in the continuing care program. You’ll meet at the facility one hour a week to continue learning recovery tools and relapse information. Pathways Behavioral Services has a variety of times available for treatment sessions to work with your schedule.
The facility is conveniently located in downtown Waterloo, which puts you steps away from various restaurants and shop you can enjoy after your treatment sessions. There are also multiple parks in the area where you can get some exercise or sit by the Cedar River and relax.
Pathways Behavioral Services has community prevention educators on staff who work to prevent substance use among teens in the community. Some of the services they provide include youth evidence based curriculum, community education and presentations, and business and workplace training.
In addition to prevention services, the facility also offers addiction treatment services tailored to adolescents. Your loved one will participate in individual and group counseling that will focus on topics such as self image, relationships and responsibility. These sessions may take place on site at area high schools to make transportation and scheduling easier.
