When you first visit them, they’ll talk to you and assess your condition so they can recommend the best treatment for you. For example, they have a dual diagnosis program for clients who need help overcoming an alcohol or drug problem as well as a mental disorder, like depression. They also offer programs like In Bloom, which focus on helping pregnant and parenting women with substance abuse.
Some of the different kinds of outpatient services they might recommend include individual, group, or family therapy, peer support groups, relapse prevention training, and other programs. If you struggle with opioid use, they can provide medication to make it easier to manage cravings and lower the chance of relapse during treatment. If they think that you need more help beyond what their center can provide, they may refer you to another location in their network.
