Home health visits are generally for clients ages 4 to 20, and the treatment often involves the whole family. This way, you’ll be in familiar and comfortable surroundings as you recover. They’ll coordinate your care with your schools or local community agencies if needed.
Their therapy approaches are varied. You may be exposed to dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, stress and anger management, and tactics to make better decisions. These approaches are designed to address your addictions and any underlying mental health disorder.
Medication management is available if you have a prescription or if you are considering a prescription. These services can help educate you on the mental health medication available and ensure you get the proper dosage.
