About Pauquette Center – Columbus
Pauquette Center is located in Columbus, Wisconsin. This is a comprehensive counseling facility that provides a range of services to adults who are experiencing struggles with their mental health. They also have a dedicated alcohol and substance abuse treatment program. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including mental health therapists and certified drug and addiction counselors. Care is offered in an outpatient setting.
The care team here has expert knowledge on helping individuals like you recover from an alcohol or substance use disorder (SUD). All the clinicians here are licensed to treat both alcohol and other drug abuse symptoms. You’ll undergo an initial substance use assessment. Through this, your struggles will be identified and an appropriate treatment plan will be created for you.
There are individualized counseling sessions that use evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Through this, you’ll learn how to navigate negative thoughts and emotions that often lead to drug use. You’ll also learn to identify triggers that have contributed to your drug use so that you can minimize your risk of relapse.
If you have a co-occurring mental health struggle then you’ll meet with licensed counselors who can help you navigate the struggles you’re facing. You’ll learn different coping strategies and techniques that you can apply to your life so that you can build healthy habits for success.
There’s also an intoxicated driver program offered through the Pauquette Center. This program can help individuals who are navigating the legal system because of a drug or alcohol-related offense.
