Pembroke House is a drug and alcohol rehab residence located in Rochester, New York. They are part of the Easthouse group of recovery homes. They treat people who suffer from substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder.

This house is staffed 24 hours a day. The trained workers can administer any prescription medications you have. The staff can also give you medical exams. They can help retrain you in basic life skills like cooking and cleaning.

They will educate you about nutrition as well. I was impressed that they would not only help you with job training but teach you how to find and keep a job. You will make a plan for the next steps of your life. You will have the chance to apply for government programs such as food stamps.

They offer group sessions where you will be able to share your struggle with other people who are going through the same thing you are. You will also have individual therapy sessions. You will have a peer mentor who struggles with addiction like you do. The mentor will be a step or two ahead of you in the program. Everyone has the opportunity to participate in yoga or meditation.
