Peninsula Outpatient Center – Sevier is located in Sevierville, Tennessee. This is an outpatient facility that provides comprehensive care to individuals who have a psychiatric illness. They are equipped to address coexisting substance abuse disorders as well. They accept policies from most major insurance providers, including select Medicare plans.
Peninsula has a partnership with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse and provides funding through their Behavioral Health Safety Net program. This program is available to qualifying applicants and is one of the ways your cost of care can be covered in part or in full.
Their outpatient services in the Sevier clinic are rooted in traditional practices including counseling, medication support when necessary and integrative healthcare. If your psychiatric health struggles are more intensive and you need 24 hour care and supervision, you can get referred to the Peninsula Hospital where inpatient services are provided.
You’ll have supportive care that addresses the unique challenges you’re facing, and treatment is rooted in evidence based practices. They offer dedicated services including crisis stabilization if you have a coexisting drug or alcohol disorder as well.
There’s a program offered through Peninsula known as the Recovery Link program. This is a program where you can call in to schedule an appointment for an evaluation to determine what your substance use or mental health struggles are.
From there, you’ll get linked with the appropriate treatment services through this organization or within the community. This service is offered free of charge, and you’ll only have a financial obligation for the services you receive once you get connected to a recovery program. Even then, there are ways that the cost of care can be covered if you qualify.
