About Penn Foundation Behavioral Health Services – Pottstown
Penn Foundation Behavioral Health Services offers accredited mental health and addiction treatment services rooted in Anabaptist Christian Community values. Based in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, treatment here is available to adults aged 18 and older. This facility features a 16-bed detox center that provides a comfortable and structured environment in which individuals can safely withdraw from addictive substances with the support of medical supervision. Clients are assessed and issued a personalized treatment plan that will see them through the duration of their recovery journey. Co-occurring mental health issues can also be addressed during this process.
Once clients stabilize, they’re often encouraged to transition to the center’s inpatient drug rehab program. This facility features 39 beds and provides a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment. Residents can access a variety of therapeutic activities to help them boost their motivation and develop sober living skills. They’ll also have access to an onsite chaplain. Other services available include therapy as well as sober recreational activities like yoga, aerobics and volleyball.
Outpatient services are also available here through both intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), and standard outpatient programs. Services include individual and family counseling as well as 12 Step groups. Various other support groups and activity sessions are also available including art therapy, a cognitive behavioral therapy skills group, a grief support group and a recovery 101 group.
