About Peoria Treatment Center – East Peoria
MedMark’s Peoria Treatment Center in East Peoria, Illinois, specializes in supporting adults, including veterans, who are experiencing opioid and other substance addictions. This accredited facility is part of the VA Community Care Network through Optum and TriWest and also accepts Medicare and other private insurance plans. Self-pay is also accepted.
This center’s opioid treatment program (OTP) is personalized to meet clients’ unique and individual needs. The priority here is that clients gain the necessary tools and resources required to help them overcome their addiction, to take steps towards a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle.
Clients begin by undergoing medical assessments and testing before being issued an individualized treatment plan that will guide them through their recovery journey. While in the program, clients can benefit from specialized substance use counseling, including individual sessions. Participants can also access a three-phase medication assisted treatment (MAT) program using FDA-approved methadone and buprenorphine alongside regular therapy sessions.
Case management, guest medication services, relapse prevention education, and referrals are also available. Pregnant individuals can also access coordinated treatment to ensure the safety of their baby. Near the end of the program, clients will receive discharge planning and aftercare support to ensure a sustainable and long-term recovery.
Depending on clients’ insurance plans, it’s possible that some may be eligible for transport support to get them to and from appointments. The team will work with you to see if this benefit applies to your situation.
