Phoenix VA Healthcare System – Northeast CBOC provides mental and behavioral health care for military personnel, Veterans, and families in Scottsdale, Arizona, including adolescents, young adults, seniors, homeless and indigent persons, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and persons with co-occurring disorders. They offer general outpatient (OP) treatment in a primary care setting for clients requiring alcohol and drug rehab services.
Their general outpatient programs (OP) are designed for clients who are medically stable and who do not require high-level supervision and support, including those who have completed inpatient treatment. Clients receive medical and mental health assessments, personalized care plans, and complete case management. Those requiring higher-intensity treatment will be referred. Clients engage in robust individual, group, and family counseling and recovery-focused life-skills training.
Their aftercare services enable a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include 12-Step program facilitation, step-down support, and referrals for additional services.
