Pine Woods specializes in offering support during mental and behavioral health emergencies. The Pine Woods Crisis Center is a 30-day short-term crisis stabilization program operated by the McIntosh Trail Community Service Board. During the 30-day stay, all patients are medically monitored for detoxification and stabilization.
During the admission process to Pine Woods, individuals are assessed by a complete team of mental health support professionals who will develop a unique and individualized care plan. All of the assessments the mental health support professionals provide are based on ASAM criteria, which helps to identify what types of outpatient services are needed. This care plan will be used to help stabilize the individual and start them on the path toward recovery from substance abuse.
Pine Woods provides access to the McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, which gives specific services that provide support for the specific treatment needs that an individual may have. One of the programs offered is New Choices, which is a women-only addiction treatment facility for women who are seeking recovery.
The center currently accepts private insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare. For those who aren’t able to afford the copay costs or don’t have insurance, Pine Woods offers payment assistance programs to ensure that everyone is able to access the care they deserve, no matter their income or insurance situation.
