Pittsburgh Mercy Behavioral Health is a comprehensive mental health center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that offers walk in crisis care 24/7. They provide several programs and levels of care for those in need of addiction treatment or addiction with co-occurring disorders. They have programs for adults, adolescents and children. They also welcome veterans.
They accept Medicare, Pennsylvania Medicaid, and a few Highmark Commercial plans for behavioral health care services. They only take TRICARE at their primary care center. If you don’t have insurance, they have financial coordinators who can help you determine what benefits you might be eligible for.
They have an intensive outpatient program, a regular outpatient program, and a special program for DUIs for adults. In the outpatient programs you’ll receive individual, group and family therapy if necessary. You can also get medication for addiction and medication management services. There’s also a Hepatitis Project which includes testing, education and counseling.
If housing is an issue, they offer emergency winter housing and permanent supportive housing. Even after you’ve found housing, you can still get care management support to help with recovery.
