About Prestera Health — Cabell County – Huntington
Prestera Health has been serving West Virginia children, adults and families since 1967. Their Huntington location serves Cabell County. This clinic is on 8th Avenue in a red-brick two-story building. There is limited street parking and you may need to walk a minute or two during peak times.
Clients can access DUI programs, outpatient services, health and wellness and residential and transitional living for women.
Prestera Health provides a sliding fee scale to help everyone be able to access quality healthcare. They also assist those who have financial challenges by connecting them to financial assistance resources.
This program blends intervention, treatment and education. Participants will have at least 18 hours of classes over 6 weeks.
I like that clients will be monitored with random breathalyzer and urine drug screens. Each participant will make personalized goals and work towards them during this course.
Once you successfully complete the program, your driver’s license will be reinstated.
The Huntington location is a CARF-accredited residential and transitional program for women and women with children.
Women will get safe and sober living accommodations as well as a range of other services such as parenting support, children’s treatment and prevention services, educational and vocational support, transportation assistance and more.
I like that they offer referrals for licensed child care, as well as medical and psychiatric services. Residents will be subject to random drug testing.
