About Prevention Resources – Flemington
Prevention Resources, formerly Hunterdon Prevention Resoures, is a private non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse. Prevention Resources is located in Flemington, New Jersey.
Prevention Resources hopes to empower the counties they serve to flourish and thrive by maintaining healthy life choices through access to quality programs and services. They promote the health and wellness of individuals, families, and community through education, collaboration, advocacy and treatment.
Groups include Anger Management, a six week evidence based curriculum, a Life Skills group, a six week focus on the development of healthy life skills such as decision-making, communication skills, stress management and coping skills. Actions through Cognitive Training (A.C.T.) is a 26-week mandated judicial program utilizing the evidence based Duluth model to create a process of change for men or women who batter in relationships.
