About RAP Residential Adolescent Program – SMA Healthcare – Daytona Beach
In sunny Daytona Beach, Florida, the Residential Adolescent Program (also called RAP) is a place of hope for teenagers with addiction. It’s a specialized residential center for teens between the ages of 13 and 17. It’s part of SMA Healthcare, a big network of addiction and mental health treatment centers.
Since it’s a residential center, your child will live at the facility during their treatment. Most clients stay for 4-6 months but this will depend on your child’s progress.
During your child’s stay, they’ll get quality treatment for their drug or alcohol addiction. The program includes therapy, outdoor therapy, positive peer support, and experiential learning among other treatment methods. They’ll keep up with their education too thanks with classes provided by Volusia County Schools.
