About Reach for Recovery – Holland
Reach for Recovery runs the Chester A. Ray Center for Men, a residential addiction treatment center in Holland, Michigan. This facility is a residential substance abuse treatment for men. They stay for up to 90 days. This program focuses on addiction, so program participants must be free of any major medical or psychiatric issues that could interfere with treatment.
Men who are admitted to this program must have a diagnosed addiction. They also need to have abstained from drugs and alcohol for 72 hours. You’ll also need to exhibit a positive interest in recovery. What’s important about this program is being able to live in a highly structured environment.
Residents learn healthy coping skills, do volunteer work and receive employment assistance. You can also expect to receive housing assistance and slowly reintegrate into your community. During treatment there will also be lectures, therapy sessions, and recreational activities.
Former clients seem satisfied with the treatment and often mention how this program gave them their life back.
