About Recovery Zone II – Los Angeles

Recovery Zone II is a private substance abuse sober living home. Recovery Zone II provides adult male clients with sober living and 12-step programs. They provide services voluntarily, through court orders, and referrals. You’ll find ’em located in Van Nuys, California.

Recovery Zone II gives clients a home-like setting to reside in as they seek and receive additional support for drug or alcohol addiction. This is a comfortable home-like setting with modern amenities to help clients relax and meet their daily responsibilities. These include food, television, internet, and gym equipment.

Clients are expected to have or find employment during their stay to show their dedication to recovery. Clients are also subject to random drug testing. Recovery Zone II does not provide counseling or therapy beyond peer support groups, but clients may seek treatment from another program while residing in the house.

The 12 Step Program is utilized worldwide as a peer-led drug and alcohol addiction support program. Clients have regular meetings with their peers to discuss their struggles and successes while progressing through recovery stages focusing on forgiveness, accountability, spirituality, mentorship, and fellowship. Each client works closely with a mentor (a senior member of the group) to navigate recovery.

Recovery Zone II does not accept insurance. However, traditional recovery programs often work with private insurance such as Cigna, Magellan, ComPsych, and HCSC. Clients should confirm their coverage before enrolling in a program, as out-of-network benefits may vary.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

12-Step

12 step programs such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous are support group style programs for individuals who are experiencing alcohol or substance use disorder. At Evoke they use a holistic model of addiction care that includes using 12 step programs. These programs are an integral part of most relapse prevention plans and provide continued support and accountability that support sobriety.

Aftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Sober Living Homes

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Treatments

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
