Region IV Mental Health Services – Chemical Dependency Complex is located in Corinth, Mississippi. This center provides crisis stabilization for adults along with residential care facilities. Their main focus is alcohol and drug rehab.
Stabilization is offered to clients who are suffering from an intensive psychiatric crisis and require immediate attention. These clients generally have an underlying mental health disorder along with their addictions.
As a client, you’ll be expected to enroll in a 12 Step program throughout your recovery. Therapy consists of following guidelines laid out by SAMHSA, so that the level of care is at a professional level. You’ll also address any underlying conditions through cognitive behavioral therapy, which can help you avoid relapse.
Along with therapy, some medications may be provided to lessen your withdrawal pains and cravings. This process is called medication assisted treatment, but you’ll be supervised during the entire time you’re dosed.
After your inpatient program ends, you can transition into an outpatient program at a nearby Region IV clinic or an alumni program. The programs might be similar, but you’ll have more flexibility in your sessions as you return back to your community and family.
