About Rehabilitation Day Program – Jasper House – Birmingham
Located in Birmingham, Alabama, Rehabilitation Day Program – Jasper House offers mental health treatment to individuals with dual diagnosis, HIV/AIDS, and severe mental illness. Treatment is provided through a day treatment program. Those with severe addiction may need to participate in an alcohol or drug rehab inpatient program elsewhere.
Residents participate in daily treatment for dual diagnosis or mental health concerns. Individual therapy and group therapy are provided. Additionally, activity therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral modification techniques are used to support the treatment process.
Family involvement is encouraged through the family psycho-educational program. Emergency mental health services and crisis intervention services may be needed at the start of treatment, which will transition into long-term treatment. This program is a part of Aids Alabama and offers access to their network of resources.
Additional housing services, health and wellness services, community resource services, and advocacy services are also provided.
